As life suddenly came to a standstill and the main focus is to stay safe, many of patients' scans have been postponed. COVID-19 impact on MRI procedures in USA -47.4%, in Europe - 44.9% (IMV Report, April 2020). This situation is causing an enormous backlog of patients.

As elective care is carefully starting up again, we need to be ready for adapting to the change, and think about how to beat the backlog and on how to prepare and ensure our patients will soon get the MR examination they need. With the backlog challenges and for any emergency situation, we need to make the examination faster without compromising on image quality and overall patient comfort.
