Course description

When assessing the myocardium, clinicians may use MRI for non-invasive myocardial tissue characterization. Cardiac mapping is a technique that provides visual and quantitative assessment of the myocardium. 

The resulting comprehensive graphs and pixel-based, quantitative information in different regions of the myocardium help to guide early decisions for therapy.

This course provides information on the methods available in MRI for cardiac mapping.

Audience: This course is designed for MR technologists, radiologists, and cardiologists who will perform cardiac MR examinations.

Delivery method: This is an online, self-paced course. 

Duration: This course requires approximately one hour to complete.
